REALab
The mission of the Rehabilitation Engineering to Advance Ability Lab (REALab) is to improve health, mobility and independence for individuals with physical disabilities. The REALab takes an interdisciplinary approach by combining techniques and knowledge from engineering, physiology, anatomy, and clinical practice. Current research focuses on improving rehabilitation of neuromuscular function for individuals following spinal cord injury or stroke.

Current Studies
- Development of Clinical Measures to Guide Neuromodulation Therapies
- Intermittent Theta Burst Stimulation to Promote Motor Re-education after Upper Limb Reconstruction
- Quantification of Shoulder Pathology and Manual Wheelchair Propulsion in Children and Adults with Spinal Cord Injury using Advanced Biomechanical Modeling and Diagnostic Imaging
